A coffee and cake despite Corona. You have to stick to the 50 meters, but that's okay.

Always good and a beautiful area, a customer for over 40 years.

We have been there quite often and were always pleasantly surprised by the delicious cakes and of course the super cream puffs. A visit is always worthwhile, as is a nice walk in the beautiful valley Some Kubst objects. Today we took a covered apple pie with rum (lovingly packed) with us 😋

The Cafe Bauer is between Grasellenbach and Hammelbach in the middle of nature, very beautiful. The big cream puff is a pleasure.

Yummy cake. In summer the space becomes scarce despite the large terrace. But that speaks for the very good quality of the cakes. In the Gasbachtal you can hike very well before or after. Nice personel

We went back to Café Bauer yesterday and found it delicious & good. The prices are OK. After all, you can't get a frozen cake. My wife and son enjoy the beautiful hike afterwards. Admittedly, the café no longer seems up-to-date to me. But we appreciate Café Bauer and would love to come back.

Nice café in the forest, known for its cake counter and its wind-bags. Can be reached by car, bike and on foot. After a long hike, that's a great way to end it.

Unfortunately not good this time. The previous table was still not completely cleared and not disinfected when our order was served. And that after a long wait.

Nice service, delicious cakes, very fine ice cream and fantastic surroundings invite you to go for a walk. The footpath from the parking lot through the forest is simply a place to relax. We are back soon !!!

Nice café not far from Grasellenbach in a large meadow landscape (in the Gassbachtal) next to the forest. The range of pies and cakes is impressive! You can sit comfortably on the terrace, especially in the current Corona period. The many wasps alone, all of which are buzzing around the good cake, are very annoying and downright risky with children because they are very intrusive! The cakes are delicious, the service is quick and attentive. Conclusion: hike there and try it out.

I come to spain so, the waitress treated us differently for being foreigners and it was full of bees.

Nice secluded place. In the woods. Narrow road to get there. And then tjabem Café Konditorei Bauer. Tasty wind deflectors. No silly portions. Fills well. Really top and a super friendly waiter with blond hair. Highly recommended.

The absolute insider tip. Outstanding taste. The motorcyclist group was thrilled, except for one person with the HD machine. I make a clear recommendation. The area is fantastic for motorcycling. I will definitely come back.

A great café in the middle of the forest. Here you work very conscientiously with heart and soul. A large selection of pies and cakes is also available during the week. We are glad to have found you and despite the long way we would like to come back soon!

We were there on Sundays. It was packed. But just got two more seats at the patio door. We each tasted a large cappuccino (4 €) and a large puff pastry with strawberries. Was both very lush but delicious. The service was a little stressed with the many people but friendly. On Sundays we will not visit this crowd.

The pies are all delicious and there is a huge selection. And the giant windbags are also a pleasure. Inside something "stale", but comfortable. In good weather you sit on the terrace outside in the countryside very nice. Coincidentally, you do not get past here, the approach goes to the end on dirt roads or through the forest, where you already wonder if you can drive along there at all. There are plenty of parking spots on-site, and many visitors use the café as a stopover on their hike. Service super nice, the service is nimble, even if the cafe is full.

Confectionery of the finest - for cakes and cakes a good address. Many people know that, and so the café is always well-attended. The real highlight is the exquisite cream puffs with all sorts of side dishes ...

Best cakes in Germany. Very worthwhile making the drive there

I have had the pleasure of spending all this afternoon at Café Bauer and enjoyed cold beer, superb coffee and some fantastic cakes. Sitting outside amongst the lovely natural forest setting was relaxing and enjoyable. The best way to spend the day when wanting good service, a friendly smile and great food and drinks. Keep up the great work and we will be back again from Australia as soon as we can.
